APEIR was initiated in 2006 to promote regional collaboration in avian influenza research. In 2009, APEIR expanded its scope to include all emerging infectious diseases (EIDs). APEIR is EIDs research network composed of researchers, practitioners and senior government officials from Cambodia, China, Lao PDR, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
In 2014, APEIR start new APEIR-MBDS joint project on Transmission of Pathogens with Biosecurity Concern in Southeast Asia Cross Borders: Problem, Risk Factors and Policy Implications.
Project Coordinator
Main Responsibilities
The project coordinator ( PC ) will manage and provide support to Project implementation under the supervision of APEIR Coordinating Office (APEIR CO)/Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI); undertake day‐to‐day business and work collaboratively related with project. The PC will facilitate the implementation of the project which include management and M&E of the project. The overall job involves tracking the progress of the project, delivering project milestones, communicating with partners and other duties as needed to contribute to the success of project.
Qualifications
Preferences are the APEIR member country nationalities and understand and recognize the social-culture of Southeast Asia.
